A heavy three track ep, fresh from Freerange Records, brought to you by one of the labels unsung heros Milton Jackson. Deep/Tech House at it's best! The first track "Crash" has a constant hynotic element to it and leans to a more techno side in it's epic journey. On remix duty is Glam who offers a more drawn out version with subtle changes here and there. The stand out track for me though has to be "Rhythm Track" Its old skool New York flavour with its chunky percussion gives you that familiar feeling and that warm and fulfilling use of vocal stabs just gives it that little bit extra. Well worth checking out! |

Well balanced and textured grooves are the best way to descirbe the Hugo remix of this Matt Star masterpiece. Hugos delivery is not only carefully crafted, it's the subliminal vocal samples and stunning effects which keeps the perception fully occupied! Put simply, In the words of Jamie Jones "...proper dancefloor stuff" this really is! One I've been playing ever since I got my mits on a copy, it's a sure fire way to see people rush for a spot on the dancefloor whilst singing the addictive hookline "sunshine... blah blah blah"

One of the first releases on Deep Beat Recordings comes from Label founder and owner Adrian S. a talented producer based in Canada who has his own slant on the Deep House Sound.
Minimal Effort is far from a minimal track it starts with a lazy sounding chilled out sweeping intro that’s given pace with a lively kick drum and crisp high hat, joined by a base that has a sweet hollow sound thats both deep and driving. Keyboards sound great too with a live jam session feel, there’s plenty going on in this track to groove to and keep the crowd pumping. This track is a must for deep house collectors.

This Is Rhythm is the UK based production duo of DJ/producer/promoter Gee and the impressive jazz/pianist/producer/ Hannah V.
Please Don’t Call is the latest offering from this dynamic duo, the main mix features the striking, soulful vocals of Natalie Williams combined with the UK rapper Lyric L, with her distinctive trademark raw cockney twang. To compliment the package, the jazzy mix features trumpet player Graham Flowers (James Taylor Quartet). Quite simply, this is a gorgeous slice of soulful house heaven.
There’s been a lot of interest in this track, with DJ’s across the airwaves giving maximum airplay & support, but in the meantime, you’ll have to watch out for news on a release date for this hot tune!
Natalie Williams has just finished her third album ‘Secret Garden’, which is due for release in September.
